Athol Park Guest House - Port Erin

Lovely hosts made me feel right at home.

Enjoyed our family room in 1 hour short notice.

Excellant service, free parking available on street. Amicable and attentive stuff and a satisfactory breakfast including a huge variety of cereal and fruit. Location near the centre of Port Erin near the steam railway, Douglas for a day out-highly recommended, and Bradda Head...

The room was super spacious, but the door handle broke right away.

I appreciated the warm hospitality from the staff.

Upon arrival, I noticed a strange odor in the guest house, made me uneasy. The decor felt outdated, reminding me of the 1950s, which negatively impacted my overall experience.

Charming location close to the coast

The stay offered a good, diverse breakfast every morning, and the room was clean and cozy. Just a short stroll from the beach, it seemed like a hidden gem in Port Erin.

The en-suite was a bit dated and quite snug, and parking was only available on the road, which could be inconvenient during peak times. The window dressings felt heavy, limiting the bright and airy feel of the room.

Reminded me of home

Alan and Jenny are super friendly and. It was cool to see Milner's Tower from my window. The breakfast options were awesome, especially the kippers! Just a heads up, it's a bit tricky finding parking during busy times, but that didn't ruin my stay at all.

Breakfast options dazzled, especially the scrummy items like kippers. Clean and tidy accommodations made it a comfortable spot.

The highly-rated evening restaurant was closed , disappointing. Some room furnishings felt dated, reminiscent of 1950's design. The window dressings were quite heavy.

there's no on-site parking, but unloading was easy since you can stop outside. loved the breakfast with lots of options and the super neat room. really close to the beach and train station too.

Location is perfect, just a 5-minute walk to the beach, and the breakfast options were good, with a tasty English and Chinese breakfast to choose from. The room was clean, spacious, and outfitted with all the essentials, including a tv and tea-making facilities. The hosts were ever so helpful.

The breakfast was a highlight, especially the golden malted waffles that were delicious. While the ensuite bathroom was compact, it functioned perfectly for our needs. Parking was a minor inconvenience, as it was only available on the road, but dropping off bags right outside made it manageable. The only downside was the dark curtains in the room.

Our room was really spacious, comfy and super clean! Breakfast was super tasty, lots of options like kippers and they even topped up my tea every morning. The owners were so nice and always ready to help us with anything we needed. Location's perfect, just a short walk to the beach and shops.

Only downside was parking on the road, but it wasn't a big deal since we could drop our bags off right outside. The evening restaurant was closed which was a bummer.

The place was very clean with a shared bathroom and the location was surprisingly great and charming.

Stayed here for 4 nights and enjoyed our choice; got excellent breakfasts with fruit and self-serve cereal.
